Coredge Software Inc., an Ottawa- based information management software company, recently announced the release of Logik - My Edition v1.0, its first product.
The company said Logik - My Edition is a Knowledge Preview tool that was designed to provide users with a quick way to absorb information found in email, and files in public folders, on hard drives and the Internet, offering automatic generation of Library indices, document summarization, identification of related documents, and translation to and from over 6 languages. It integrates with Lotus Notes Mail(TM) and Outlook(TM) (MAPI), MS Internet Explorer(TM), and offers connectors to Microsoft Outlook(TM), Lotus Notes(TM) and Hummingbird DOCS Open(TM).
"Each day business professionals are faced with the challenge of trying to find the right information to complete their work, while surrounded by a mass of unstructured information. To overcome this, they need a tool that exposes relevant information to them," said Gabriel Cassis, President and CEO, Coredge. "Access to the right information is just part of the problem. Even though documents are collected, they still need to be read to assess the value of their content. Logik brings into focus what's relevant filtering out the noise," added Gabriel.
