The Nielsen Norman Group (NNg) recently released a report called Intranet Design Annual: Ten Bests Intranets of 2001, naming what it considers the top Intranets of the past year.
The 2001 winners were international accounting firm Andersen; Canadian electric utility BC Hydro; networking systems giant Cisco Systems (built by web design firm Tristream); mutual fund company division Fidelity Investment Canada; ASP service Interactive Applications Group; Swedish educational institution LuleÅ University of Technology; international media company division, Pearson Technology Centre; research and engineering company Science Applications International Corporation, Canadian web development firm silverorange; and, finally, the U.S. Department of Transportation.
