Mac users can now rejoice as the power of mind mapping arrives on their desktop today. In past articles I've talked about the sheer power that Mindjet's MindManager brings to anyone needing to brainstorm, plan, or manage projects. The most recent article was "MindManager 6 Takes it Up a Notch."

Whether you're responsible for the corporate Intranet or trying to make sense of the latest strategic technology developments in your industry, MindManager can help you wrap your head around the task at hand and seamlessly build professional presentations and project plans at the click of a few buttons.

According to Gartner research, last year saw a 32 percent adoption growth of Mac PC shipments. While the Windows PC may seem ubiquitous, the Mac platform is alive and well. Whether you are a technology professional or a creative artist, mind mapping is applicable to you. As a way to collaborate and synthesize ideas in a visual medium accessible to any audience, MindManager should be a welcome addition to the Mac user toolset.

Sporting a clean, intuitive user interface that is similar to Apple's iWork applications, MindManager will enable Mac users to capitalize on their knowledge resources in a new and innovative way.

Even better news is that there is no need to worry about the challenge of sharing files between the Mac and PC which can leave us breathless at times. Mac users can play effortlessly with their PC counterparts when it comes to collaborating on and presenting their mind maps. With its cross-platform file format, anything mapped out in MindManager 6 can be shared with co-workers using either Mac or Windows.

Check the bottom of this article for a sneak peek at a map in the new interface:
