They've nominated their favorite, most useful and innovative software tools in six categories in the first annual Intranet Journal Product of the Year Awards.

It's a reader-generated award process, and now it's time for you to open the final ballot and vote for one of the finalists. Click here for the final ballot.

The categories are:

  • Best Intranet Design Software
  • Best Hosted Intranet Solution
  • Best Blogging Software
  • Best Wiki Software
  • Best Document Management/Collaboration Product
  • Best Enterprise Search Software
    • Voting has begun and will be open until midnight (EST) on January 25, 2007. Winners will be announced on January 29. To be eligible, products must have been introduced or significantly updated between January 1 and November 15, 2006.
