Printer Friendly Version
ACOM Solutions has announced that its browser-based EZContentManager document management system is now available as a set of modules, allowing small/medium businesses to convert to a paper-free, centralized electronic document management environment quickly and affordably.
The company also recently released other upgrades to EZContentManager, featuring enhancements that streamline the user experience and provide faster task execution.
ACOM, headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., is now in its 25th year of business -- quite a long haul in the document management field. Its products are popular in certain segments, because EZContentManager is a web-based document management solution that accepts any document or file from any source, whether internally or externally generated, and stores them in one central repository, eliminating silos of information.
EZContent Manager works with ACOM's EZeDocs document management solution and EZPayManager payment management to create a seamless, end-to-end corporate document and content management environment.
Regarding the new modules, Mark Firmin, senior vice president of marketing and product management, said that "because of size and operational considerations, some companies might view the extensive capabilities of the full version of EZContentManager as beyond their immediate requirements. The modular version, EZContentManager 3.4.1, allows them to buy what they need, as they need it, tailoring their systems to their immediate requirements."
The basic engine of the modular version of is a two-concurrent-user license that satisfies all conventional document management needs, including desktop storage, retrieval, distribution by integrated email and fax, retention controls, and multi-level secure access to stored documents. An unlimited number of additional users can be added.
