Actually, you may already have one. Your policies for phones and computer usage in general can apply to email: Use for business purposes only, respect confidentiality, etc. We found our general business practice policies and procedures to apply with email and intranet applications. You can always add terms like email, newsgroups and other new methods of communication if there is a question arising over vague language in your existing documents. A good addition if you don't have "phone etiquette" guide are the standard FAQs on email available on the Internet.
