Hello! Allow me to introduce myself! I am T.J. Maher, a 25 yr old dreamer who wishes to launch his own web design company, running it out of his apartment, up here in Somerville, MA. The problem is that I am smart enough to realize that there is so much that I do not know! How do web designers set fees? Is Adobe Photoshop and Kai's Power Tools REALLY the best? Is there an all-in-one package for making animated GIF's? Why is the sky blue? What is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? What newsgroups and listservers to you recommend for the budding young idealist, like myself to join? ;}

Thank you for your patience! It is just that I feel that there is this thick glass ceiling separating me from everything that I should know.
