Maher on May 28, 1997 at 15:45:34: Welcome T.J. to the wonderful world of entrepreneurship. I have helped quite a few Web Design firms establish themselves. I am the network administrator and President of an ISP, we provide a variety of services including Web Design. First of all you must verse yourself in good common business practices (The basics are the same for all business). Pick up a book or two (I recomend ten or more). You must familirize yourself with the basic necessities of actually starting and running a business. Having great ideas don't make an entrepreneur a sucess you must work very hard to acquire those customers and build your business. You must also develop a comprehensive plan which maticulously outlines every aspect of your business, your strategies for success, your responce to competition, your market, your capital requirements, etc...believe it or not only a small portion of your plan will actually intail your great ideas. I am also currently developing a website which will aid individuals such as yourself, check the included link often to see our developments and work. Also we have are developing a VAR program for Web Designers, and other Internet professional who wich to provide Internet related services to their customers, but don't have the financial resources to build there own network or just don't want to build their own network. This program allows you to provide a variety of services without the overhead normally required. Contact me for more details. To End: Osric McMillan |
