Hi Heather - your marketing idea is a good one but I question the effectiveness of it for Intranet sites. Intranets try to promote the use of electronic information, including newsletters, over paper format.

Steve, you could take this idea one further and advertise new content on your Intranet site or do a newsletter type announcement every week or month indicating new and interesting things to check out - but do it on your Intranet to promote the use of the site as opposed to communicating corporate wide with paper or email.
