Creating Hyperlinks - Database driven

I have several databases on my internet which are subject oriented. I have a website allocated for most of my subjects. Eg: Keyword "Cancer" would be related to a Cancer web site.

The urls are in the same table and the field data type is set as "hyperlink". However, when the asp page is generated by frontpage, I can't get the hyperlink to generate in the browser. What do I need to do?
