I have the answer. Found it buried at Nescape.com. Have to have 6 installed - uninstall won't help. Open a Netscape 6 window; click on Edit, select Preferences; click on Advanced; click on Desktop Configuration. Clear all the checkmarks next to all those items. Click on OK.
